Drawing the Wild; Fur, Feathers and Other Hairy Things

This 5 1/2 hour workshop from 9:30 to 4, with an hour for lunch, is for anyone who draws - any skill level can manage this technique.   We will be using pencils (2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), a kneaded eraser, a small pointed eraser (for instance a Tombow Mono), graphite powder, and will be creating a hairy ape, or monkey, and learning how to create realistic hair, fur or feathers. We will provide the graphite powder and your paper with the drawing stenciled on it, but you will need to bring the pencils and erasers to work with.  Kits will be available for $10 if you need the pencils and erasers.
